For our A2 coursework we have to come up with an idea for and produce a music video.
The two tracks I will be basing these ideas around are:
1. Parov Stelar - Clap your Hands
2. Little Mix - Salute
The song by Parov Stelar is electro-swing genre therefore the plot is based on the story of young people who lived in 1940s in America.
The first scene would be the shot of the old musical "Swing Time" and then the audience will see an old couple ( Afro-American and White) sitting in their armchairs, holding hands and swinging.
There will be shot-reverse-shot from one side to another to show how different but also how similar people can be and how dancing makes them a whole.

The song by Parov Stelar is electro-swing genre therefore the plot is based on the story of young people who lived in 1940s in America.
The first scene would be the shot of the old musical "Swing Time" and then the audience will see an old couple ( Afro-American and White) sitting in their armchairs, holding hands and swinging.
Then there will be a throwback to the past years of this couple.
The audience will see a stage where the band will play and the singer will be located but all attention has to bу paid to the floor where dancers will be separated as in 40s. Afro-Ameracans will dance on one side and Whites will dance on another.
There will be shot-reverse-shot from one side to another to show how different but also how similar people can be and how dancing makes them a whole.
The next what will happen on the floor is that a girl from one side gives a hand to a biy from the African side and they continue to dance despite the rules and the boarder between them. (this is our couple)
After a while the whole floor is mixed, some dancers start to breakdance, do some hip-hop moves etc.
The clip finishes with a shot of an old photo of this couple when they were young.
Hurtwood House theatre and studio would perfectly suit the shooting and we have lots of students who can dance or learn how to swing.
Moreover, the make up I want to make very bright and colourful, high haircuts and clothes can be rented or took from old shops in Crawnley, girls will need colourful long dresses and boys have to wear suits.
This clip will look like a feminist propaganda and carry a idea of domination over male sex. Therefore the singer and dancers would be dressed in sexy way as in Alex Gaudino video, they will be on high heels and in shorts and tops.
Boys will also be in the shot but they all will be dressed in black to make an impression of slavery.

Little Mix are British four-piусу girl group whose music genre is typical R&B, hip hop and pop.
This clip will look like a feminist propaganda and carry a idea of domination over male sex. Therefore the singer and dancers would be dressed in sexy way as in Alex Gaudino video, they will be on high heels and in shorts and tops.
The studio walls have to be white colored and the first shot will include a singer sitting in the armchairs surrounded by boys dressed in lever and wearing high heels.
